What could be the future of Batman gadgets?

Behold the future of Batman’s gadgets:
Batman’s Lightsaber!
Looking at the current list of Batman's 15 Deadliest Gadgets And Weapons we can get an idea of the direction his utility belt is heading. Namely, a more lethal one.
For starters, his gadgets will eventually end up like those from the galaxy far, far away of Star Wars - unbelievable and awesome.
But well before that ever happens, his gadgets will take a turn for the dark side. Though his foes will never see it coming. After all, for the past 70 years the Caped Crusader has been throwing the same batarangs at evildoers and taking names.
Since the element of surprise is kind of his thing, the World’s Greatest Detective has to start coming up with new ways to surprise bad guys.
Like shooting his ears into their heads.
Bet you didn’t see that coming.
Neither did that guy. And that’s the point (pun intended). Just like Gotham’s worst, fans have come to expect some crazy creative things from Batman and that means writers will have to start coming up with new ways to keep them on their toes.
And when all else fails, get more violent.
Because if there’s one thing nobody expects to see, it’s Batman firing a grenade launcher at Superman.
So in the near future, taking a cue from the direction ushered in by Batman v. Superman, the Dark Knight’s gadgets will get more lethal.
I mean look at those guns on top of the new Batmobile.
They’re not even trying to hide the fact Batman’s a killing machine. At least Tim Burton’s Batmobile kept its guns hidden in the car’s fender.
But what do I know. I’m basing my answer of what I’ve been seeing lately in the comics and film. Logic and rational thinking will only get us so far when it comes to Batman’s gadgets.
Ultimately, if you’d like to know what the future of Batman’s gadgets will look like I recommend asking a 10-year-old boy. Because this seems to be pretty much how writers have come up with their ideas in the past.
A glove that shoots ninja stars and fire? Sure!
A spray that repels evil girls? Of course!
A sword made out of lasers that he keeps in his belt? GENIUS!
Personally, I hope we don’t see either direction taken - the violent one or the Star Wars one. Because Batman is not defined by the gadgets he uses or how many people he kills on-screen.
Nolan’s films hinted at a more noble version of the character unreliant on Bat-Skates, Bat-Nipples and Kryptonite spears.
One that could get the job done with nothing but his own two fists.
